  • Weapons, including firearms, guns, knives, bats, brass knuckles, black jacks, Billy clubs, night sticks, spikes, handcuffs, stun guns, or anything that may be used as a weapon.
  • Electronic devices with the exception of cell phones and non-professional cameras (without any detachable lenses or recording equipment) GoPro’s, selfie sticks. Professional photography, audio, or video equipment, Flash photography. You may not reproduce any film, digital, video or audio recording for commercial purposes without the express written consent of the Manhattan Center.
  • Laser pens and pointers, markers, permanent or otherwise, chalk, spray paint, stickers, flyers, handbills, vending, peddling or product sampling.
  • Noisemaking devices (e.g., whistles, horns, drums, vuvuzelas).
  • Drones, unmanned aircraft systems, gliders.
  • Skateboards, hoverboards, roller blades.
  • Aerosol cans, self-defense sprays, hazardous substances and chemicals (e.g., pepper spray, mace, tear gas and lighter fluid).
  • Tools, razor blades, box cutters and scissors.
  • Wooden objects
  • Toys and/or projectiles, including stuffed animals, frisbees, balloons, beach balls, hula hoops, and glow sticks.
  • Backpacks of any size. No bags over 22″ by 14″ by 9″. See through/transparent bags recommended.
  • Cans, bottles, glass or any other beverage containers and especially those made of hard plastic, aluminum or metal.
  • Chains, studded bracelets or oversized studded rings.
  • Large and non-folding umbrellas
  • Illegal drugs or illegal drug paraphernalia.
  • Prescription drugs must be in the original labeled container with conforming government ID (respiratory inhalers excepted).

Where is the Manhattan Center?

The Manhattan Center is located on 34th Street between 8th and 9th Avenues (across from the AMC Theater).

Where is the Hammerstein Ballroom and the Grand Ballroom?

The Hammerstein Ballroom is located inside the Manhattan Center on the first floor. The Grand Ballroom is located on our 7th floor.

How do I buy tickets?

Tickets can be purchased online through Ticketmaster.com or our website.

Our box office is open on the night of the show for day of tickets only and only sells tickets for that specific show. Ticket pricing is dictated by the promoter of the show.

Can I get a refund if I miss the show?

There are no refunds for tickets.

If the weather is bad, will the show be cancelled?

The only instance a show would be canceled due to bad weather would be if the government imposes travel restrictions or the performers are unable to get to the venue. 99.9% of the time, the show will go on. Be sure to check out our Facebook and Instagram pages for weather-related updates.

How do I get there?

The Manhattan Center is conveniently located one block away from Penn Station and is easily accessible by taking the 1, 2, 3, A, C, E trains to 34th Street/Penn Station.

Path trains from New Jersey to 33rd Street/Avenue of the Americas.

Via metro-north take the shuttle from Grand Central Terminal Times Square and transfer downtown to the 1, 2, 3 trains to 34th Street/Penn station.

Where do I park?

We are lucky to have Meyer’s Parking Garage right next door to us.

Can I bring my kids? What’s the age limit?

Our shows are all-ages unless stated otherwise.

However, we recommend that children under the age of 5 do not attend our shows.

How do I use a ticket on my cell phone?

  • Download the Ticketmaster app
  • Tap My Events, find your order, and view ticket
  • Optional: Add your ticket to your Wallet (Apple) or Google Pay (Android)
  • To get in, scan your ticket right from your phone

Be sure to charge your phone before heading over!

Phone battery issues, cracked screen, or not using a smart device? no problem. Simply visit the venue box office on arrival. You’ll want to have your ID handy and order number to pick up your ticket.

How do I transfer my tickets to someone else?

  • Sign into your Ticketmaster account and click on your event to find your tickets.
  • Click the “Transfer Tickets” button (event eligibility may vary).
  • Select the tickets you’d like to transfer.
  • Enter your recipient’s first and last name, email address and an optional note.
  • Click the “Send” button.

When transferring tickets, Ticketmaster will send you two emails: one confirming your ticket(s) have been sent and another when your recipient accepts the tickets you sent. Your recipient will also receive an email prompting them to accept your tickets. Once the ticket transfer has been accepted, the tickets in your account are no longer valid and you will not be able to get into the event with those tickets.

* Those receiving a ticket transfer must have a Ticketmaster account. If they do not have an account, they can easily create one when they accept the tickets.

I purchased a General Admission ticket but notice a seat and row number on my ticket. Do I have a seat?

All shows are General Admission Seating (or standing floor ) and on a first-come, first-served basis. We ask that you do not save general admission seats or space for guests that are meeting you.

The seat and row number is simply a way for us to track capacity. It does not mean you have assigned seating. If you are on the floor, you are standing general admission. If you are in either of our two balconies, you have general admission seating.

I bought my tickets on StubHub or another third party. I didn’t receive my tickets. What do I do?

Manhattan Center is an exclusive Ticketmaster venue. We are not affiliated with third-party ticket sites. Any issues would have to be addressed with the third-party site directly.

What time do doors open?

Doors open one hour before show time, i.e., if Ticketmaster says 8pm, the doors open at 7pm.

Can I be seated if arrive late?

Doors are open until one hour before anticipated show end.

All seating/standing is first come first served.

Is there anywhere to eat nearby?

Yes, there are plenty of eateries nearby.

Is food and beverage allowed inside?

No. There is no outside food/beverage permitted.

You may buy snacks and beverage at our bars.

I am a photographer. How do I get a media pass?

Media credentials can be requested by calling the artist’s publicist, record label, or promoter. Manhattan Center does not provide media passes.

What is your bag search policy? Are there any prohibited items?

All bags are subject to search. In the interests of public health, safety, and applicable law, we ask for your cooperation and not bring any of the following prohibited items to purchase tickets to any upcoming show.

Note: patrons who appear overly intoxicated, rowdy or engaged in any actions deemed dangerous or disruptive by event security will likewise be refused entry without refund.

Is there an ATM?

We do not have an ATM but there is one located across the street. Keep in mind, we do accept credit cards.

I’m inside the venue already but need to go outside. Can I come back in?

All exits are final, even for guests who smoke.

Guests are not permitted to leave an event and then re-enter the same event.

Where is Will Call/Box Office?

Will Call/Box Office is located on the far west of the lobby. Will Call tickets may be picked up on the day of show one hour before the doors open.

Are there a lot of stairs?

There are stairs that lead up to our balconies but we also have elevators if you are unable to use the stairs.

I am disabled. How can you help me?

There are accessible seating options available for purchase on Ticketmaster.com. If you have purchased a ticket prior to becoming disabled or have other disabilities, please e-mail emf@mc34.com. Please be sure to include your full name, event, date, and order number.

Is there a Manhattan Center merchandise stand?

The Manhattan Center does not sell merch (at the moment) but each show does have its own merch booth located in the lobby.

I think I left something at the Manhattan Center. Do you have a lost and found?

Please email our security desk at lostandfound@mc34.com to inquire about the possible recovery of any lost items. If you lose an item at the event, immediately contact an Usher, Security Officer or Event Management Representative for assistance.

I have a vape. Can I smoke inside?

In compliance with Federal, New York State and New York City regulations, smoking of any type or form is prohibited anywhere inside the Manhattan Center. (For clarification only, this prohibition includes any type of vapes or electronic cigarettes.) This policy is strictly enforced and violation of this regulation is grounds for immediate and final ejection.
